Shortlisted for an Orange prize and nominated for an Edgar, Manda Scott’s writing career spans two decades and a multitude of genres, always with powerful, complex warrior women at their heart. Originally a contemporary thriller writer, she progressed to historical fiction with the international best-selling Boudica: Dreaming series and the Rome series of classical spy thrillers. In addition, she also writes for television, radio, broadsheets and blogs.
Her most recent novels, Into the Fire and A Treachery of Spies join in interwoven historical and contemporary timelines.
A Treachery of Spies was published by Bantam Press in the UK in August 2018. It was long-listed for the Guardian’s Not the Booker Award by public nomination.
