Shortlisted for an Orange prize and nominated for an Edgar, Manda Scott’s writing career spans two decades and a multitude of genres, always with powerful, complex warrior women at their heart. Originally a contemporary thriller writer, she progressed to historical fiction with the international best-selling Boudica: Dreaming series and the ROME series of classical spy thrillers. In addition, she also writes for television, radio, broadsheets and blogs.
Her most recent novels, Into the Fire and A Treachery of Spies join in interwoven historical and contemporary time lines.
A Treachery of Spies is being published by Bantam Press in the UK on 9th August 2018. It has already been longlisted for the Guardian’s Not the Booker Award by public nomination.
