Debbie Howells was cabin crew, a flying instructor, then a wedding florist, during which time she wrote and self-published three novels.
Her first psychological thriller was The Bones of You, which was published in 2015 by Pan Macmillan. It’s about the events in a village surrounding the murder of a teenager, Rosie, but it’s also a haunting portrayal of emotionally abusive relationships and the dysfunctional family Rosie grew up in.
The Bones of You was a Sunday Times Bestseller and was selected for the Richard and Judy Bookclub. Since, she has written The Beauty of The End, published in 2016, and The Death of Her, published in 2017. Her fourth novel is due to be published in 2019.
